What is Laser
Genesis? |
The Laser Genesis procedure utilizes non-invasive laser
technology to safely, discretely and effectively treat large
pores, uneven skin texture, diffuse redness and scars. You can
expect to see subtle yet consistent results after each
treatment, without unwanted side effects such as bruising or
excessive skin irritation. Treatments can be performed in a
relaxed, comfortable manner without the use of topical
anesthetics or gel.

How does Laser Genesis work? |
By gently heating the upper dermis well below your skin's
surface, Laser Genesis stimulates collagen growth. Additional
heat is generated in dilated capillaries to reduce redness.

What areas can be treated? |
Laser Genesis patients report excellent results over their
entire faces and necks. Additionally, practitioners may suggest
this therapy to diminish recent scars on other parts of the
body.

How many treatments will I need? |
The treatment results are often subtle. On average, you may
require four to six treatments in order to achieve optimal
results. Every patient's condition and needs vary. For more

What kind of improvements can I expect? |
Over the course of four to five treatments, Laser Genesis
can help restore the skin's youthful glow and appearance by
smoothing out subtle uneven textures caused by aging, sun damage
or scars. You will see a more creamy, healthy complexion as
large pores are reduced in size, and minor imperfections are
diminished. The individual treatment results are subtle, but the
overall effect of multiple treatments can be quite dramatic. For
more dramatic and quicker results, we often recommend Fraxel as
a more aggressive alternative.

Is it painful? |
Most patients report mild or no discomfort during the
procedure. The settings are adjustable and we will perform the
procedure at a level that is comfortable for the patient. Please
let your physician know if any treatment is too uncomfortable.
Your skin may appear a little pink and be a little hot
immediately following treatment.

How soon will I see results? |
Many patients experience softer, glowing skin after the
first one or two treatments. The recommended treatment plan is
between three and six, depending on the condition and type of
your skin and the results desired.
